These terms govern your use of the websites located at https://www.mealproapp.com and https://www.mealproapp.io, as well as any other sites we own or operate, and any related services we provided. By accessing our one of our websites, you agree to abide by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing any sites or services provided by us.

We reserve the right to review and amend any of these terms at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Any changes to these terms of service will take effect immediately from the date of publication.

All references to "you” or “your” used in these terms include Meal Planners and Clients, as the context demands, collectively or individually.

‍Our service 

MealPro App is software that helps individuals (“Clients”) looking for support with their diet, meal planning and recipe ideas connect with meal planners (“MealPlanners”). MealPro App allows Meal Planners to create meal plans and recipes and share them with their Clients. 

MealPro offers monthly and yearly recurring memberships options to Meal Planners. By signing up to MealPro, you, the Meal Planner, permit us to charge you every month or year, depending on your selected plan. If you opt for a free trial, you will only be charged when you choose to upgrade to a paid membership. 

MealPro also offers unpaid use of its website to Clients. Meal Planners and Clients are expected to make their own arrangements for purchase and payment and Client access to MealPro.

Any information on our website is not to be taken as medical advice. You should consult with a medical expert before starting a new diet or lifestyle and, if relevant, instruct your Clients to do the same.

You are responsible for making sure you have the technology required to access our website.

‍Accounts

MealPro App offers two different account types: Meal Planner accounts and Client accounts. You create a Meal Planner account on MealPro App when you submit the required details via the registration page. A Client account is created on MealPro when a Meal Planner adds you to their account as a member.

You must provide true and accurate information when you create your account. You must not share your account with anyone. You must not use the account of anyone else. You are solely responsible for all activities linked to your account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must keep your username and password private and secure. We will not be liable for any loss or damage that occurs or is sustained as a result of your failure to maintain the security of your account. You must keep updated the details that you submitted when you created your account. In particular, you must keep your contact information updated.

Account holders must comply with our fair use policy which are incorporated in these terms. Failure to comply with any of our policies may render an account liable for closure or suspension.

Relationship with MealPro

The purpose of MealPro App is to make its service available to allow Meal Planners and Clients to connect and deal with each other. MealPro App does not offer any introduction or selection service. MealPro App holds no responsibility for decisions and choices made by Meal Planners and Clients on MealPro App. MealPro App is not a party to any purchase arrangement or contract between Meal Planners and Clients. MealPro App is not liable for any act or omission leading up to, or in connection with or relating to, any arrangement or agreement between Meal Planners and Clients.

Payments & refunds 

When you sign up for Meal Planner account, you commit to the term you have selected. Memberships are recurring. At the end of a membership term, we will bill you for the next period automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date. You can access your billing information via your profile page. We do not offer refunds for a partially used Meal Planner membership. You can cancel your membership at any time via your profile page. When you cancel, you will be able to access our website until the end of your current billing cycle.

We also offers onboarding services to help Meal Planners get started. Onboarding services are charged as a one-off payment. We do not provide refunds for onboarding services. 

Charges are in U.S. dollars (USD).

Any other charges are described on our website and are subject to change. If they do change, by continuing to use our website you indicate that you agree with the new fees. We reserves the right to revise the pricing of our services. We will include all applicable taxes and charges in the prices of our services at the time of purchase. Applicable taxes and charges are calculated based on the date of your purchase. 

‍30-day money-back guarantee 

If you are within the first 30 days of starting a new yearly or monthly Meal Planner subscription and need to cancel for any reason, you are entitled to receive a full refund. The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to any other products or services that we offer, for example, the  onboarding service. 

‍Intellectual property 

The intellectual property in the materials contained in this website are owned by or licensed to MealPro App and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Use of the materials without written consent from us is not allowed, with the exception of the Portable Document Format ("PDF") file that is generated on our website.

‍User-generated content 

Content means any information, images, videos, text, or other materials uploaded to our website. You represent and warrant that you own or have authorization to use and upload all content that you contribute to MealPro App. 

You retain your intellectual property ownership rights over the content you upload to our website. We will never claim ownership of your content, but we do require a license from you in order to use it. When you use our website or its associated services to post, upload, share, or otherwise transmit content covered by intellectual property rights, you grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly display, translate, or otherwise create derivative works of your content in a manner that is consistent with your privacy preferences and our privacy policy. The license you grant us can be terminated at anytime by deleting your content or account. However, to the extent that we (or our partners) have used your content in connection with commercial or sponsored content, the license will continue until the relevant commercial or posting has been discontinued by us.

You give us permission to use your username and other identifying information associated with your account in a manner that is consistent with your privacy preferences, and our privacy policy. 

‍Dispute resolution 

We strive for fair, friendly, and economical resolution of your concerns. If you have any concerns such as a complaint, claim, controversy, or dispute arising from your access to or use of MealPro App you must first try to arrive at a resolution by contacting us. We will respond to you within 90 days of your communication. When you contact us, you must provide us a return contact address. You and MealPro App will make good faith efforts to achieve the resolution of your concern. Whereafter good faith efforts on the part of you and MealPro App resolution have failed, your concern will be resolved through arbitration. To the extent permitted bylaw you waive all rights to participate in any class action lawsuit. 

‍Liability 

Our website and the materials on our website are provided on an 'as is' basis. To the extent permitted by law, MealPro App makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchant ability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property, or other violation of rights.

In no event shall MealPro App or its suppliers be liable for any consequential loss suffered or incurred by you or any third party arising from the use or inability to use this website or the materials on this website, even if we or an authorized representative has been notified, orally or in writing, of the possibility of such damage. In the context of this agreement, “consequential loss” includes any consequential loss, indirect loss, real or anticipated loss of profit, loss of benefit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, loss of savings, loss of reputation, loss of use and/or loss or corruption of data, whether under statute, contract, equity, tort (including negligence), indemnity, or otherwise. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

To the extent permitted by law you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MealPro App, its officers, employees, representatives, and agents for all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, losses, and expenses arising from any claim, suit, proceeding, demand, or action, brought by you or a third party that relate to or arise out of the use of MealPro and its services by you, your agents, employees, or representatives.

Accuracy of materials 

The materials appearing on our website are not comprehensive and are for general information purposes only. We do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on this website, or otherwise relating to such materials or on any resources linked to this website.

‍Nutritional information disclaimer 

MealPro App provides nutritional information for ingredients, recipes and meal plans contained on our website. This information is provided by a third-party service called Spoonacular and is based on the USDA FoodComposition Database. Although we attempt to provide accurate nutritional information, any figures should be considered an estimate and are not guaranteed by us. We have not professionally evaluated the nutritional information, ingredients, recipes, or meal plans provided on any of our websites. To get the most accurate representation of the nutritional information in a given ingredient, recipe or meal plan, you should calculate this with the actual ingredients you use. Percent daily values are based on a target intake of 2,000 calories per day. Your actual calorific needs and percentages may be different.

If we terminate your right to use our website(s), we will delete all content in your account in line with our privacy policy and these terms.

You may close your account if you no longer want to use MealPro App or if you disagree with any of our policies. If you terminate your account, we will treat your information in line with our privacy policy and these terms. We will retain account information only as necessary to defend against claims, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, and for any other reasons outlined in our privacy policy or these terms. 

‍Severance 

Any term in these terms of use which is wholly or partially void or unenforceable is severed to the extent that it is void or unenforceable. The validity of the remainder of these terms of use is not affected. 

‍Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
